We pride ourselves on engaging in ethical breeding; inbreeding and overbreeding are not options for us! Our breeding males are kept separate from our breeding females, we only have planned pregnancies that are arranged by Buttercup Cattery. Our queens will have 1-2 litters per year, and we give our kings breaks as well. Over breeding results in unhealthy cats and kittens, not only for the females, but males as well, that's why we have multiple kings, so each king can take a 4-6 month break, to get their focus off breeding and on to gaining weight and being the loving social pet that Ragdolls are. All our kittens are tested negative for FIV, FeLV, and our home is free of FIP. All our Ragdoll breeders are DNA tested, and are negative for HCM, PKD, MPS VI and other known genetic disorders.
